should be changed back, because since the change, when you take a cap signet with you and u#ve still 3 pve skills with you, the signet wil kick one of the other 3 pve skills out ... thats silly, that were before the change not so ...

its also silly, that now ever the elite skill thats most right get kept in you bar, and the other, thats more left get kicked out, thats silly, old system wsas much better, where simple the last capped elite in you bar, thus meaning the one capped by your last signed gets removed from the bar, once you enter a town or any outpost ...

I don't HAVE to have 3 PvE skills. But my build works VERY well with 3 skills, and removing 1 takes away a LOT of my spike. So basically, I can't cap skills with my usual build. Which I like, so don't want to change.
So yeah. I'd sign for this.

This isnt a good idea...yea...just keep it at that.. No point in capping skills in PvP (and you can't)

Honestly, I wish they would just remove the three PvE skills limit.

But considering that isn't going to happen, /signed

Failure. Once again somebody who /notsigned and the only thing he read in the thread was the thread title.

I should start reporting people for not even reading the threads and just posting to +1 their post count.

by that logic it should just be put into keyspace 9. cause i hate to not be able to use one of my skills when i go skill capping.

Good luck with that idea.

This is purely a comfort thing, Cap sig takes one skill slot, you loose one slot in a PvE only skill, you loose one skill anyways to use the Cap Sig, its not rocket science. Eather way you ARE going to be loosing a skill. Builds still work with the loss of one skill, if you signed this why not sign "/r for resign" or "/return for return to outpost" ... those are comfort things that want editing on an already working engine.

I'm fine with only being able to have 2 cap sigs with me at a time (I swear by sunspear res sig ^.^) or 2 PvE skills in general. I don't see why people would need more than 3 PvE skills in general to be honest.

Because the concept of how SoCs worked was changed. Using a SoC never before meant you couldn't use it with 3 other certain types of skills.

The /r for resign is just lazy and a thing that could lead to greifing and confusion.

This update isn't about convience, its about allowing you to use SoC the same way you used to.

It's PvE.
Remember the quests to get Signets?

You don't unlock it.

No reason why you need 3 Pve and a cap sig at once, makes capping at leaast a tiny bit of a challenge . on top of that the 3 pve is a power limit thing and 2 elites is well worth it. Also its for one cap get over it :/.

Default Signet of Capture shouldn't count for the "3 PVE skills" limit

Hi,

I was wondering who'd agree that the Signet of Capture shouldn't count for the existing limit of 3 PVE-only Skills that currently exists?

After all, the Signet of Capture is used to cap normal skills only.

I agree. However it's nothing more than a minor inconveniance and doesn't bother me too much (mainly due to the fact i rarely use more than two PvE only skills).

It helps prevent some double elite skill build with 3 pve only? That is pretty much like having 5 elite skills out of 7 skills.

What is so bad about a double elite skill build that can only be used once ?

Well... there are almost no places where you can find more than two bosses of the same profession with different elites... so it's almost impossible to cap more than four elites at the same time... so... a way to make capping not so easy by removing other PvE skills like Ursan Blessing make titles like Skill Hunter still valuable.

So... It doesn't really matter.

I am proud of the three times I triple-capped while going for Elite Skill Hunter (that's when I got it, thx). Aura of the Lich, Hundred Blades, and Eviscerate (yes, I triplecapped on Hell's Precipice, pre-Heroes with a PUG). Heal as One, Archer's Signet, and Weaken Knees (laughably easy). Soul Bind, Broad Head Arrow, Equinox (another laughably easy).

Oh yeah, and the time I had 4 elites on the bar with my ranger in Ring of Fire (Burning Arrow, Oath Shot, Incendiary Arrows, Spike Trap).

Or how about the time where I had Avatar of Lyssa equipped on my dervish, then capped Avatar of Balthazar? The Elite Kournans stood no chance.

Yeah, doublecaps, triplecaps, capping while elites are already on the bar is a blast, and the addition of PvE skills should not limit that enjoyment (if you want to triplecap now, you have to forgo the uberness that is Pain Inverter and Finish Him).

And finally reiterating the point already made: you're capping NORMAL skills with the cap sigs, not PvE-only skills.
